One of the studies dealing with the issue of administration in the Ancient Age is Xenophon’s famous work called Oikonomikos. This study focuses on the statements made by Xenophon about management with a Socratic method in his work called Oikonomikos. It aims to evaluate Xenophon’s explanations about management with the Socratic Method and their relationship with today’s management field. In this context, it is try to evaluate the contribution of Oikonomikos as a work written with the Socratic Method in Antiquity to provide as a reference point in the field of administration and explore the universal dimensions of the nature of administration.

Antik Çağ’da yönetim konusunun ele alındığı çalışmalardan biri Xenophon’un Oikonomikos adlı ünlü eseridir. Bu çalışmada, Xenophon‘un Oikonomikos adlı eserinde Sokratik bir metotla yönetim hakkında yaptığı açıklamalar üzerinde durulmaktadır. Xenophon’un Sokratik metotla yönetim hakkında yaptığı açıklamaları ve bu açıklamaların günümüz yönetim alanı ile olan ilişkisini değerlendirmek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Oikonomikos’un Antik Çağ’da Sokratik metotla yazılan bir eser olarak yönetim alanında bir referans noktası sağlaması ve yönetimin doğasına yönelik boyutların keşfi için katkısı değerlendirilmeye çalışılmaktadır.
